Agent-Readiness Auditor

Privacy policy

Agent-Readiness Auditor is a Chrome extension that analyzes the web page you choose to audit and shows the results in Chrome’s side panel. It doesn’t collect, sell or share any personal data.

What it reads

When you run an audit, the extension reads the structure of the current page (its elements, attributes and visible text) inside your browser.

It also makes a few requests to the same website, the way any visitor’s browser could:

These requests go only to the website you are auditing.

Agent test

If you run an Agent test, the names and roles of the page’s buttons, links and fields, the page title and the task you type are given to Chrome’s built-in AI model (Gemini Nano), which runs on your computer. Chrome may download that model the first time. Nothing from the test leaves your browser. If the model isn’t available, the test matches your task to control names inside the extension instead.

What it stores

The most recent report for each open tab is kept in Chrome’s session storage so it reappears if you close and reopen the panel. It is deleted when the tab navigates to another page or closes, and when you quit Chrome.

To show what changed between audits, the extension also keeps a short summary of the last audit of each page you audited in Chrome’s local storage on your computer: its URL, the time, the score, and each check’s status and issue count. It doesn’t keep page content. It keeps at most 200 pages, and you can delete it all with Export → Clear audit history.

It also keeps a few counters in local storage: how many audits you’ve run, whether you’ve answered the rating request, and which version’s “What’s new” note you’ve seen. After an audit, the page’s score is shown on the extension’s icon for that tab, and cleared when the tab navigates.

Site scan and re-run on reload

These features ask for access to the site you’re auditing, and only that site. A site scan reads the site’s robots.txt and sitemap to find pages, then opens them one at a time in a background tab that closes when the scan ends. The scan’s results (page addresses, scores and problems found) are kept in local storage on your computer so you can view the last scan again; Export → Clear audit history deletes them too. Re-run on reload runs the audit again when that page reloads. You can remove a site’s access at any time from chrome://extensions.

Run the steps

If you press Run the steps after an Agent test, the extension opens the page in a background tab and does each step of the plan there (clicking, typing or choosing), the same way you could. It uses your existing login on that site. It never pays, places orders, deletes or cancels anything, and never types personal details such as an email, password or card number. Anything typed comes from the plan (for example a search term). The tab closes when the run ends, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.

Weekly re-scan

If you turn on Re-scan every week after a site scan, the extension remembers that site’s address and the pages it scanned, and the background part of the extension audits those same pages again about once a week, the same way a site scan does. It compares the new results with the last ones on your computer. If you allowed notifications, Chrome shows an alert when the average score drops or a new problem appears on most pages. Nothing is sent anywhere. Turn it off from the same tile in the Site scan tab; removing the site’s access from chrome://extensions also stops it.

Name suggestions

If you press Suggest a name on a suggested fix, the element’s code and the text around it on the page are given to Chrome’s built-in AI model on your computer, the same model the Agent test uses. Nothing leaves your browser.

What it sends

Nothing. The extension has no servers, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code. Reports leave your browser only if you copy, download or share them yourself.

When you install or remove it

On install, the extension opens a welcome page that’s part of the extension. When you remove it, Chrome opens a short, optional feedback page on this website. That page receives nothing from the extension: no identifier, no usage data. If you choose to fill in its form, only what you type is sent, and it’s stored by our host, Netlify.

Permissions

Access to a page is granted only when you click the extension’s icon, or if you choose “Allow on all sites” in the panel. You can remove that access at any time from chrome://extensions.
